I am an entrepreneur, humanitarian, eternal optimist, lover of all things good and fun (and sushi), and steadfastly devoted to helping you create and live your best life.

From a small town in Georgia – to the bright lights and hustle and bustle of New York City – to the glitz and glamour of Hollywood – to the peace and serenity of the ocean and nature in Newport Beach…

From Howard Stern to tech PR to mindfulness junkie and personal growth freak… What a long strange trip it’s been!

I get all giddy and goose-bumpy when I get to inspire people and lead them toward discovering their own sense of purpose and know they don’t have to be stuck where they are.

So, if you are over 40 and feel like it’s time to discover a deeper meaning in life in the second half, then you’re in the right place, my friend. Welcome!

One thing people often ask me is: "Why did you give up a 20 year career to become a personal growth coach? And why specifically for people over 40?"

After spending two decades in a career I liked, but couldn’t say I loved, I am proud to say that I have now created a socially conscious digital business that I absolutely love! And my mission is to help others discover their own passions in their business and achieve both professional and personal success.

But it didn’t happen just like that. There were MANY bumps in the road and challenges along the way.

After college, I left my small town in Georgia and moved to the bright lights and big city that’s NYC then moved Los Angeles, pursing a dream of becoming a Hollywood bigwig. And again, it was a big, fat epic FAIL. I got fired from what I thought was my dream job and realized maybe this whole Hollywood bigwig pipe dream wasn’t for me.

I ended up starting a PR company and for alomost two decades, I did pretty well for myself. I got to work with celebrities, global technology brands, and some well-known nonprofit organizations.

But it wasn’t spiritually fulfilling. I began to feel that there was more to life—something deeper, more spiritual, and far more profound than hustling to get my clients in TechCrunch or Forbes magazine.

Then my life took a huge detour. I started a nonprofit animal rescue. Like Woody Allen said: “If you want to make God laugh, tell Him about your plans.”

I knew I wanted to serve and make a difference in the world. I just didn’t know with what or how. Animal rescue fell in my lap.

And even though animal rescue gave me a much deeper level of meaning and fulfillment than I ever knew I could experience, something was still missing…

Balance, joy, and a deeper understanding of who I am and how to navigate the murky waters of the negative mindset, anger issues, and limiting beliefs I had somehow developed over the years from not being properly fulfilled.

So there I was: 45 years old with a flailing business and funky skin. Needless to say, my feelings of self-worth, confidence, and self-belief weren’t exactly at an all-time high.

What happened to this “bigger and better things” mentality I had in my 20’s??

I lost my drive. I was completely unmotivated. I was drinking too much. I struggled to get out of bed on any given morning. If it weren’t for the dogs, I wouldn’t have.

No bueno!

It was a very scary place to be, and I knew I couldn’t stay there for long or I would be destroyed—internally… by my own doing. I had to do something to change my life.

I had to figure out what that something was. I needed to figure out how to make a sustainable income with a business that would allow me to use those skills, talents, and innate abilities I had collected over my years so that I could serve my purpose, all while building a successful business and nonprofit organization while saving lives daily.

No biggie.

I was terrified. I was afraid to let go of a long career and start over. I was constantly being pulled between staying safe in doing what I knew best and taking a huge leap of faith to pursue my dreams.

Regardless of how challenging and unrealistic it all sounded, I steadfastly held onto the belief that I could make it happen. I had to do something different. I had to step outside of my comfort zone.

I had to teach this old dog new tricks (pun totally intended). I started studying personal growth, spirituality, Law of Attraction, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), and neuroplasticity.

I deepened my faith, honed in on my speaking, writing and digital marketing skills, and prepared myself for the journey ahead.

I started to gain a sense of confidence and empowerment. I began to believe in myself again. I regained my sense of self-worth. I realized that I didn’t have to allow a certain unfortunate situation in my life determine my feelings of joy, fulfillment, and abundance for the rest of my life.

All of this taught me one of the most valuable lessons I have ever learned:

When things change within you, things change around you.

I found my personal mantra.

To change your life, you must first change your mind. It really is that simple. With just one decision, my entire life changed.

This got me thinking: there must be other people out there who are struggling with these same issues too, and also have no idea how to escape it.

So at 47 years old—nearly half a century—I decided to close the hanging-by-a-hinge doors of my PR practice and begin building a coaching business to empower others to discover their own deeper meaning in life, find joy, and experience fulfillment in any circumstance. I want everyone to have the opportunity to change their life, as I did, so they too can live a life they love.

Life will only change when you become more committed to your dreams than you are your comfort zone.

Which brings me to you, my friend.

You have incredible untapped potential, talent, and gifts to share with the world. I want to help you discover them. Well, not just discover them; I want to show you how to apply them so you too can live an abundant and fulfilling life. By robbing yourself of this opportunity, you are doing yourself and the world a huge disservice.

But, you have to be willing to get a little uncomfortable to uncover, discover, and tap into your unique gifts. But, it is oh so worth it!

When you work with me, we will address the obstacles and mental blocks that have been holding you back:

Fear—of failure or success.

Support—or lack thereof from people around you.

Doubt—or lack of confidence to take the next steps.

And, the biggest one:

Stuck—in not knowing HOW to take the first step toward changing your life.

By the time we get to these, you will likely know your what. You will know and understand your why. Together, we will write the roadmap to your how.

So while we’re working on getting you out of your head and into your heart and getting your goals and desires into alignment so you can earn a living doing the stuff you love AND change your life so you can change the world.

What would you like to achieve?

I’m here to help you determine that.

I’m here to help you discover your gifts and use them to create a life you love. The life that makes you wake up in the morning, jump out of bed and greet the day with a giddy-up in your step. The life you crave, but currently do not know how to create.

Maybe you’re ready to leave that corporate job…

Or, maybe you’re ready to put a dying business to rest and start one that better serves you and others…

Or, maybe you simply want to become ore soulful in your life, career, and relationships.

Whatever your desires may be, transition isn’t always easy. It takes some planning, skill, courage and most of all BELIEF.

Don’t get me wrong. My life still has its ups and downs. I still have craptastic days and moments of fear and doubt. I understand that life is full of trial and error, wins and losses, successes and failures.

But my mission in life is to equip you with the tools you need to get through those tough times while remaining focused on building and achieving the life of your dreams—knowing that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.

I am not your run-of-the-mill mentor, though. I tell it like it is. When you work with me, you’re in the no BS zone so don’t expect me to coddle you through your excuses. That’s not going to get you the results you came to achieve. The universe doesn’t offer up the goods to those who just whine and complain. Just sayin’…

You can either have your reasons—your excuses—or you can have your results, but you can’t have both.

What you will get when you work with me is thought-provoking content and teachings, wisdom that I’ve garnered throughout my years from those who are lightyears ahead of me… and lots of love! It might be tough love, but it’s love nonetheless.

Of course, I couldn’t have a coaching business without including my dogs. You will most-definitely get dog wisdom. We can learn a lot about ourselves, presence, and purpose, from our canine companions. And, I can honestly say, I learned a lot from my in the midst of my mess.

So… if you’ve read this far, I thank you and bless you! And, I want to get to know you better.

I believe you were put here on this earth to make a difference in the world. If there’s one thing I can leave you with, it’s that your success is inevitable. You are doing alright, even though it might not feel like it.

If you’re here, then you are on the right path for your life lessons. Now let’s put those lessons to work. There is so much more out there for you, my friend. I’m here to help you discover that.
