It all started when I answered a temp ad for a receptionist position in a fashion company. That position happened to be in the PR department of famed fashion house DKNY in New York City.
From there, I freelanced with such fashion houses as Versace, Anna Sui, and Richard Tyler doing the PR for their fashion shows.
Getting tired of the inconsistent income that comes with freelancing, I answered another Want Ad. This time it was for the offices of Howard Stern.
That lead me to Los Angeles, doing entertainment PR and working with celebrities such as Will Smith, Sarah Jessica Parker, Vince Vaughn, David Spade, and Ben Stiller.
While the entertainment business was exciting, it is not as glamorous as it may seem. It is very cutthroat. I decided life’s too short and moved on to calmer professional waters.
I got a job in the tech space when the dot-com boom was still booming. After a couple of marketing and PR stints, I decided it was time to be my own boss. I started my tech PR and marketing company in 2002, and it snowballed from there.
Cut to today: I am a copywriter and editor, digital content creator, PR and digital marketing expert, brand and messaging strategist, and for a little extra “oomph”, a certified business, entrepreneurship, and personal growth coach.
I love to use words to inspire people to be the best version of themselves while using my experience and talents to help companies create content that inspires and engages their audience, increases sales, and enhances the lives of those they serve.
As a purpose-driven professional, I serve the community through mentoring students at local universities and the nonprofit animal rescue I co-founded called Paw Prints in the Sand.
My Values & Beliefs
I believe that there is still a place, if not a need, for good, honest copywriting. I am a grammar freak who’s passionate about the proper use of the English language. However, I’m not afraid to get down with some slang and conversational writing to better engage your audience.
Nothing means more to me than being true to your word, honest, and having strong ethics and moral values. Always do the right thing even if it’s not the popular to thing to do.

Every act of giving matters. I say that all the time with the nonprofit organization I co-founded, and it’s true! There is no act too small when it comes to giving back and making a difference. I use my platform to make a difference in the lives of those who need us most and the world around us.
